ACCREDITATION

Ege University Faculty of Sports Sciences Department of Physical Education and Sports and Department of Coaching Education Bachelor's Degree Programs Sports Sciences Education programs were accredited for two years as a result of the evaluation conducted by the Sports Sciences Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Board (SPORAK).

“We were among the first faculties in Turkey to receive accreditation certificates.”

Applications for the first evaluation processes were made in 2020, and the evaluation processes for our departments were completed in May 2021.

The result of this process was announced at the 19th International Sports Sciences Congress.

Both departments we applied for received 2-year accreditation, placing us among the first faculties in Turkey to receive accreditation certificates.

The Physical Education and Sports Department and the Coaching Education Department Bachelor's Degree Programs were accredited for another 3 years in 2023 after receiving 2-year accreditation.

In 2025, our Sports Management Department Bachelor's Degree Program was accredited for 2 years.
